Your kindness and support have made such a meaningful difference for my students and me. The excitement and joy that filled the room when the new supplies arrived were absolutely priceless. My students could hardly contain themselves as they unpacked the boxes — their faces lit up with pure delight, and they immediately began imagining all the ways we would use our new materials.\r\n\r\nWe use most of our supplies every single day. The clipboards and highlighters have become an essential part of our reading time, helping students stay focused and organized while working in small groups. The blue partition boards have been a wonderful addition, giving students a sense of independence during tests and math time. It's been incredible to see how carefully they treat these items. They've even commented on how they want to keep everything in great condition for future classes — a true reflection of the pride they feel in their learning space.\r\n\r\nOne of the most special moments came when the students discovered the skin-tone markers. Our classroom is beautifully diverse, and it meant so much to them to finally find shades that matched their own skin. They are so excited to use them for our holiday crafts and art projects. It may seem like a small thing, but it gave my students a sense of belonging and representation that is deeply important.\r\n\r\nThe new stools have also added something special to our reading groups. The students love coming to my table, and sitting on those stools makes them feel grown-up and proud to be part of our small-group learning time. It's amazing how these simple items create such big smiles and enthusiasm for learning.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has also allowed me to laminate important classroom materials, like posters and reward systems, ensuring they'll last for years to come. This helps keep our classroom organized, colorful, and engaging — all of which make a difference in creating a positive learning environment.\r\n\r\nBecause of you, our classroom feels refreshed, cared for, and full of excitement. My students are learning not only through their lessons but also through your example — they're seeing what kindness and generosity look like in action. Thank you for supporting our learning, our growth, and our joy each day.","fullyFundedDate":1758847439148,"projectUrl":"project/equipping-my-classroom-while-empowering/9424988/","projectTitle":"Equipping My Classroom While Empowering Young Minds!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mendez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2600041_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1750426137838","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2600041"},{"teacherId":9913416,"projectId":9208747,"letterContent":"I am not sure I have the words to describe how much these microphones enhanced the experience for our students. The students used the microphones during our 18 week musical program and during their performances. The pride and confidence with which they delivered their lines, sang, and danced knowing that they were heard clearly with the help of the technology was written all over their faces. We had students with diverse learning abilities and multi-lingual learners who found their voice with the assistance of the technology. \r\n All of the students were excited to use the technology, feeling special that they were trust to use \"cool\" technology because they were part of the musical program. It helped to teach responsibility because they were responsible for caring for the technology, ensuring they were used and put away properly. Students who were quiet and reserved in the beginning of the program transformed in to confident actors knowing they had this technology. Students who were in the program in previous years commented \"Everyone is going to be able to hear us now!\" \r\n Students are excited for our production this year and to feel \"like a real actor\" now that they have microphones.
