We have been putting the laminator and visuals to good use! \r\n\r\nIt is so beneficial to have access to the laminator in the classroom. It heats up and is ready to use in minutes. One of my students did a illustration for his comic book that he has been making. He spent so much time on the drawing, making it perfect and was so proud of it. When he showed it to me, beaming, I made a big deal about it. I grabbed the laminator and we laminated the illustration to keep it from ruining. It was amazing to see how such a little thing like laminating made such a big deal in his life. \r\n\r\nI have also been using the book of visuals. It is such a wonderful resource to have access to. The fact that it is in color is so helpful. Since I do not have access to a color printer in school I had to either make visuals in black and white or take it home and use my own ink. The book also has such a wide range of visuals to use, you will find exactly what you are looking for.\r\n\r\nThank you again for choosing my project to make a donation to. We have classroom jobs and the students love being able to clean up the rug area to keep it clean for our classroom.\r\n\r\nStudents and adults that have explored our classroom have noticed and appreciated that there was a brand new rug this year! The first time many of them got on and felt the rocking they were nervous and sat down, now they get right on, stand up tall and balance it level.\r\nBeing able to build this strength in their muscles (and confidence) has translated to many of our other goals and activities too. Even students who are usually hesitant to participate have eagerly joined in, proving that learning through play is truly powerful.\r\n\r\nFinally, the high-quality books and materials have enriched our lessons on sequencing, social-emotional learning, and figurative language. One of the biggest successes was using a beautifully illustrated story to break down complex emotions and help students understand how to express themselves. Seeing their eyes light up as they connected with characters and shared their own experiences was an unforgettable moment.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, my students have access to materials that support their learning in dynamic and meaningful ways.
