One special project we've been working on is creating \"Reading Buddies.\" Students read aloud in pairs, taking turns with books from our new collection, while some students also visit the calming corner if they need a little break before getting back to reading. It's been wonderful to see how the calming corner has helped some students feel more focused and ready to dive into reading and learning.\r\nWhen the students saw the new materials—especially the calming corner—they were really excited! The new books sparked a lot of interest, and students couldn't wait to choose their favorites. As for the calming corner, many students were curious to see what was inside. When they learned about the calming tools—like stress balls, cozy pillows, and quiet spaces—they were eager to use them whenever they felt overwhelmed or needed a peaceful moment. It has really helped create a calm and welcoming atmosphere in our library.\r\nNext, we'll continue our \"Reading Buddies\" project, and I'm excited to see students start writing book reviews for the books they've read together. They'll share their thoughts on what they liked about the book and whether they would recommend it to others. If any students feel stressed or need a quick break, they can visit the calming corner before returning to their work. I believe this helps them stay focused and feel good about their learning journey.","fullyFundedDate":1732733695835,"projectUrl":"project/fourth-grade-library-set-up/8702769/","projectTitle":"Fourth Grade Library Set Up","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Q","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9595890_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1742255422838","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9595890"},{"teacherId":9433766,"projectId":8409085,"letterContent":"The donations have been greatly appreciated by my classroom! My next steps are to continue to use the supplies to support my math lessons and help my studenys learn.\r\n\r\nWe are using things to add fun to the classroom, support earning and emotions as well gow their knowledge and mind sets.
