Before these items were purchased, many played with a football a student brought from home, on the playground, or just walked around. On the first day they had these materials, there was not one student that was not engaged in some group activity. This was such a heartwarming experience to watch as their teacher. Not only did their faces light up when they saw what had come for them, but their imaginations ran wild with how many new activities they now had the opportunity of participating in at recess. Every child was involved and interacting with others for the duration of recess. In a world where physical activity is becoming less and less, to see each student running and playing while also feeling part of a group was something that cannot begin to be recounted. It was a magical moment that has continued to carry on with these materials. These chairs allow them to do just that. Wether its at my teacher table, in the library, or at their center. It is my favorite storage item in my classroom. My students favorite thing to do in class is crafts. This helps me tremendously to organize the paper for grab and go to make copies. This also helps the students to grab paper on their own as well, as this is at their level and they can be independent. \r\n\r\nI liked this so much I recommended it to other teachers in my school to help with their organization.
