Together with a fellow teacher from a kindergarten through second grade autistic support classroom, we hosted a delightful gender reveal party. We decorated the classroom with the generous donations of \"boy or girl\" themed items and inflated a special balloon for the occasion.\r\nStudents eagerly participated by casting their votes using tally marks, building excitement before the big reveal. When the balloon was popped, students cheered and then explored various centers filled with cow-themed materials, also kindly donated.\r\nWe provided worksheets for creating cow prints and enjoyed reading cow-themed books together. Each student received cow stickers and a small toy cow to take home, sharing the joy with their families.\r\nThis event is a highlight every year, as the children love guessing the cow's gender. Although it's traditionally a girl, this year they voted for a boy, adding to the fun and anticipation.\r\nYour generous contributions made this special day possible, and we are deeply grateful for your support in creating memorable experiences for our students.","fullyFundedDate":1757423414681,"projectUrl":"project/our-classroom-adopted-cow/9459879/","projectTitle":"Our Classroom Adopted Cow","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kristen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8634037_orig.jpg?crop=528,528,x0,y160&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1674408819530","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-vonahnen"},{"teacherId":9210394,"projectId":9331910,"letterContent":"Your generous donation contributes to a richer and more equitable learning environment, enabling students with disabilities to excel academically, socially, and emotionally.
