We have used all of the materials every day since they have arrived. We use the fidgets and tactile materials in our morning meetings, as part of our Ruler instruction, and when we have our compliment circles. We also incorporate them during our SEL lessons and our Mindfulness exercises. They have become an integral part of the restorative practices used in our classroom each day. The children strive to build a welcoming classroom community where they care for one another, as well as help each other to be productive and make progress.\r\n\r\nIt is so important that children feel like their classroom is their home away from home. It's a place where they can grow as learners, be safe, and build friendships. I am so grateful for the materials because they help to support a positive classroom climate where there is purposeful learning. True academic growth can only take place if children feel heard, loved, and valued. Our children are the most precious resource we have and they are the future. I am so grateful for materials that support a learning environment where they can thrive, have fun, and share their creativity through purposeful learning.
