Your support has brought a profound sense of delight and happiness to our art classroom, transforming the creative experience for our special education students.\r\n\r\nThe accessibility these new materials provide has been nothing short of revolutionary. We now have tools that truly meet the diverse needs of all our students, ensuring that every child can fully engage with their artistic side. The results have been immediate and truly inspiring!\r\n\r\nWhat's been especially joyous to watch is the students' excitement over using these tools to complete the same projects as their general education classmates. Having the appropriate adaptive colored pencils, markers, stamps, specialized scissors and sensory supplies means they can now participate fully and without extreme modification in every lesson. This is not just about art; it's about inclusion and equity in the learning environment.\r\n\r\nIt is absolutely fascinating and utterly joyous to witness their success. The look of triumph on a student's face when they realize they have successfully completed a complex step with the help of an adaptive tool is something we will never forget. They are so eager to share their excitement and finished work with their peers, and the response from their classmates has been equally heartwarming. The entire class is thrilled to see their friends succeed and are just as excited about the new materials, proving once again that true success is a shared celebration.\r\n\r\nThank you for providing the resources that are making our art class a truly inclusive, joyful, and successful space for every single student. Your generosity has unlocked incredible creative potential, and we are so grateful for your belief in our students.","fullyFundedDate":1760704156114,"projectUrl":"project/visualize-our-ability-adaptive-tools-fo/9800999/","projectTitle":"Visualize Our Ability: Adaptive Tools for Special Needs Art Integration","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Larsen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1129123_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1453383404260","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-odenwelder"},{"teacherId":1129123,"projectId":9294714,"letterContent":"Since receiving Squirt's new tank, equipment, and supplies, our school community has enjoyed watching her explore and settle into her new environment! She seems to be flourishing with her upgraded digs and really enjoying the space it provides her to swim. She seems more healthy and is even more active than she was before!\r\n\r\nThe new set up seems to have jump started student interest regarding how she grows, what she requires to be healthy, her eating habits, and why she does the things she does. Our students have asked questions, researched, and shared what they've learned about Squirt species and habitat requirements. It's been a joy to watch students become so invested, interested, and motivated to learn more about Squirt since having an upgraded set up.\r\n\r\nThe word has spread and students (and staff) from all over the building have been stopping by to see Squirt in her new tank - and have all thoroughly enjoyed seeing how happy she is! Our students have been so excited, helpful, and invested in Squirt's new quarters that she has hardly had a moment's peace since moving into her new space - and Squirt and I couldn't be happier about it. We are endlessly grateful for your generosity in helping us give Squirt the proper environment and set up to help her flourish and stay strong for many years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1746229433655,"projectUrl":"project/our-art-tastic-turtle-needs-space/9294714/","projectTitle":"Our Art-tastic Turtle Needs Space!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Larsen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1129123_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1453383404260","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-odenwelder"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_90515","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":767,"numTeachers":62,"percentFrplEligible":23,"percentAsian":19,"percentBlack":7,"percentWhite":60,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":4,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"7 - 9","studentTeacherRatio":"12.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":93.1,"schoolId":90515,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Pennbrook Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Pennbrook Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/pennsylvania/north-penn-school-district/pennbrook-middle-school/90515"}
