My students had been wanting to use chemical model kits for awhile, but we did not have the funding to purchase them. I had a couple older models that were outdated and definitely not enough for the whole class to use. Chemistry is no easy subject! The biggest challenge that students face is the abstract nature of many topics in Chemistry. The model kits that you purchased for our classroom has enabled the students to work hands-on with the abstract nature of chemical bonding and molecular structure.\r\n\r\nWhat a difference you have made for their understanding! The students making connections to the material like never before. Furthermore, they are ENJOYING their time in Chemistry. They are excited to work with the model kits. They are fun and easy to use. More than that, students are motivated when they understand a topic and have success in it. \r\n\r\nI cannot thank you enough for generous donation! Please know that you have changed my students' education for the better. You made a positive impact on their time in school, and I believe they will carry this with them for the rest of their lives. One special moment was when my students took part in the kinesthetic model. They enjoyed the simulation and their analysis of the data was spot on.\r\nThese new resources have helped my students see themselves as real scientists. They're asking thoughtful questions, working together to solve problems, and truly understanding how living things depend on one another. I've seen quiet students find their voice during group discussions and others take on leadership roles while helping their classmates. \r\nOur next step is to keep building on this momentum by having students design their own investigations about how food and resources affect animal populations. Because of your generosity, my students now see science as something they can explore and make sense of for themselves. You've helped turn our classroom into a place full of wonder, discovery, and confidence — and for that, we are so thankful.","fullyFundedDate":1755701628611,"projectUrl":"project/new-curriculum-to-meet-pa-steels-standar/9520789/","projectTitle":"New Curriculum to meet PA STEELS Standards for Biology","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Frask","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10103470_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757460535179","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/frask"},{"teacherId":9750638,"projectId":8785554,"letterContent":"The students and I would like to thank you for helping us add to our PAES program.
