They were eager to dive right in, and within minutes, the room was filled with laughter, strategy, and conversation about the many choices adults face when it comes to education, careers, and finances. It was such a joy to see them connect classroom concepts to real-world decisions in a way that felt engaging and meaningful.\r\n\r\nWe are currently using the games as part of our Career Exploration unit. After learning about different career clusters and discussing future goals, students play The Game of Life to experience the impact of decisions like attending college, choosing a career, managing expenses, and saving money. During gameplay, I've overheard students debating whether a job's salary is worth the student loan debt or celebrating when they land on a \"payday\" space — moments that spark great real-world discussions about budgeting and planning ahead.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, my students are learning that life decisions have both opportunities and trade-offs — and they're doing it while genuinely having fun. These games have transformed abstract concepts into memorable learning experiences. As we move forward, students will be applying what they've learned using lessons from The Game of Life to plan for their future in and after high school.
