They could decide if they wanted to add details on top once their blending portions were dry.\r\n\r\nThe masking tape has saved the day with out various fall projects. In art club I had the kids do a mummy fashion show using toilet paper and tape as their main materials. They had a blast and it helped make Halloween even more fun.\r\n\r\nIn 5th grade we created our mini scarecrows using packing paper and masking tape primarily. These supplies have been the perfect fun way to introduce sculpting to our little ones as well. So far I've given them out to special helpers and smaller ones to classes that have a great day. The older students have been enjoying creating paper winter stars to decorate for the holidays as well as paintings. While second grade just started their weaving project and do so with paper before yarn. The thickness of the paper allows for students to explore and create without worrying about it ripping or buckling.
