Your generosity has brought a new wave of energy to our current Valentine's box project, and seeing the students' faces light up has been a true highlight of the year. It's wonderful to work with supporters who understand how much the right tools can transform a learning environment.\r\n\r\nThe moment I unveiled the new battery-powered glue guns and heavy-duty scissors, the room erupted in cheers! The students were absolutely thrilled, and they couldn't wait to get their hands on the new equipment. Knowing how difficult it can be to manipulate thick cardboard, they were beyond excited to have tools that make the process smoother and more professional. It has turned a potentially frustrating task into an empowering experience for every child in the room.\r\n\r\nBecause of your kindness, my students are no longer limited by their materials. As we finish up our Valentine's boxes, we are already looking forward to our next ambitious challenges: engineering a miniature gummy bear playground and designing a full 18-hole miniature golf course. Your investment hasn't just provided tools; it has built a foundation of confidence and joy that will carry us through these upcoming projects. Thank you for believing in our \"makers\" and making our classroom a place of endless possibility.","fullyFundedDate":1768238189217,"projectUrl":"project/a-cut-above-the-rest-heavy-duty-creat/9982949/","projectTitle":"A \"Cut\" Above the Rest: Heavy-Duty Creating","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Buterbaugh","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1898751_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1544611268953","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/m-buterbaugh"},{"teacherId":9683675,"projectId":9617878,"letterContent":"The students are so very excited about the new materials when I share the new mini-STEM items added each rotation. The students in my classroom have been able to share time learning in different centers. We were also able to open two new mini STEM centers in our classroom. The center materials changed every two weeks. The students enjoyed time with magnetic robots, magnatiles, kinetic sand, letter puzzles, and enjoyed new materials at the play dough center.\r\nWe were also able to add glitter to our holiday shape making projects. The 5 triangle, one pentagon project to make a star was especially exciting to finish with the glitter options and the stickers. \r\nWe look forward to working with the additional materials at the start of the new calendar year. We are planning for two new mini-STEM centers to kick off the new year. The hands-on learning and exploring that has been added to my already kinesthetic classroom is so very much appreciated and impactful. \r\nSquish and squeeze sensory beads will be an upcoming activity for each student. We will add the tractor building sand set as well as a motor building kit.","fullyFundedDate":1755741854135,"projectUrl":"project/play-is-our-workblocks-sand-and-car/9617878/","projectTitle":"Play Is Our Work...Blocks, Sand, and Cars...Glitter, Paint, and Stars","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Litton","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9683675"},{"teacherId":9683675,"projectId":8669116,"letterContent":"My students and I are so very excited about all of that ways that these materials have impacted our classroom. \r\n Several of the materials have been used as homework prizes with specific implication for fine motor development. The students are excited to complete their homework packets with their families knowing that they will be given a new homework prize. \r\n One of the items was used in the month of March as a way to review and add to our science unit. We were learning about a walking rainbow and the colors of the rainbow. The small paint palette was perfect for them. The students had five of the colors and used red and blue to mix together to create purple.\r\n The toy cars will be used in our K'NEX unit when building ramps. We will use those next week to show how different ramps can impact the distance the car will travel. \r\n The students have been excited every time I get out the large box. They know that something new from our donors... I call them our \"classroom shoppers\"... is about to be placed in our classroom centers. \r\n One of our favorite activities involved the play clay mats. The students love using these with their Play-Doh.\r\n Thank you so very much for considering our classroom project and for donating to our room.
