I just wanted to take a moment to thank you again for the amazing whiteboards and poster sized Post-It notes that you graciously donated to purchase. We incorporate the whiteboards on a weekly basis! Each week we work on improving our grammatical skills, and in the past, we used a digital platform. Now that we have the whiteboards, we are able to get up and move, use collaboration, and gain immediate feedback. We have also used the whiteboards in interactive stations, brainstorming, and classroom games. Because the whiteboards are on wheels, I have shared them across classrooms with other educators. The whiteboards have enhanced so many classrooms on our sixth grade hallway!\r\nAs for the poster size Post-It Notes, I was able to write a personalized note of gratitude to all of my 81 students and post it in our classroom. To my surprise, my students used one of the Post-It notes to write why they are grateful to be in my classroom. Words are my favorite, and it truly blessed me immeasurably. When the packages started arriving and the students found out that they would be receiving flexible seating - they were ecstatic. They couldn't wait to open the boxes and put together the desks and put out the seats. They love getting to move the furniture around the classroom and taking turns using it. \r\nI love that that so many of my students are seeing the benefits of flexible seating each day. So many of the students love the wobble stools because they are able to move around while they work. The students enjoy using them because they recognize that they focus better when they are able to move and sit in a comfortable position while learning. They also love them because \"They are just really fun to sit on!!\". The wobble stools are light and easy to move around the classroom for my students. When we move to work in groups, or gather to the front of the classroom for whole group time, the kids are quick to pick up their wobble seats and easily bring them with them! \r\nThe standing desks are a huge hit - the kids love that they are able to easily stand and work. Giving them an opportunity to stretch if needed and keep their mind moving. The kick bands have also been a huge hit. Kids who aren't seated at a wobble stool, have a kick band on their chair. They are constantly in use by busy little feet and legs while their brains are working hard.\r\nThank you again from the bottom of my heart for supporting my students. I cannot express how grateful I am for your generosity to our classroom!
