We paired it with some potato head toys, and the students have made some wonderful creations. The sequined fabric added a much-needed calming touch to our cozy cube. These materials give our little learners hands-on ways to explore textures, strengthen fine motor skills, and calm their bodies when they need a break. Sometimes simple things like brand new markers really make the day.\r\n\r\nWe were able to utilize the markers during art time, circle, and many other impromptu creative projects! Students love to be able to grab art tools as needed. This provides them with opportunities for independence and creativity.\r\n\r\nThe slim was a HUGE hit! We used it for individual sensory boxes, table time activities, and science. The students enjoyed mixing other things with the slime. I focused on building their dramatic play area and sensory/social emotional areas of our classroom. We received baby dolls, baby blankets and bottles as well as community service dress up and figures, and so much more. Our students absolutely loved everything. This benefited our students for the two years they will be with us, many of the girls played house with their babies, and it helped as many were becoming big sisters. Both the boys and girls loved changing careers with their community service costumes and accessories. This was my first funded project and I was extremely grateful for every single donation to help fund it. Our students helped unbox everything and it was pure joy to see their excitement and how grateful we all were. Our students have enjoyed the magnetic tiles that create roads and train tracks. They have learned to work together to make a community, where they incorporated a community helpers and used the cars to ride on the roads. The alphabet bots and number bots were a huge success, not only calming some of our energetic friends down, while giving more attention to transform each letter and number, but they're putting words together, counting and adding with them. We are in the process of changing our sensory bin over to use floating alphabet bubbles, I'm sure they will enjoy every moment of them.\r\nThank you again for your continued support!
