We take out the activities so that all the first graders get to use them, not just my class. Your donation is reaching triple the students. \r\n\r\nWhat I noticed most about students playing with the Velcro catch or the other catching game, is the students exclaiming look what I did and watch this! They are so excited to show what they have learned. Their hands eye coordination has improved a lot since first trying out these activities. They have big proud smiles when they are able to accomplish a task. Students have learned how to work together and help one another. \r\n\r\nIt can be pretty rainy here. We have been able to use many of these activities for indoor recess in our classroom. Hop scotch and tic tac toe easily work in our classroom. \r\n\r\nThere used to be some students who wouldn't know what to do or play at recess. There are very rarely any recess times that students come to tell me they don't have anything to do. These have truly changed the engagement in play.
