They love grabbing my the books and talking about how they relate to the characters in the pages. Also with so many different kinds of levels all my students are able to find something they like and can read.\r\nI have one student who found the book \"the Only Black Girl in Town\". She was so excited to show me and tell me that SHE is the only Black girl in town. She felt so empowered and seen even just by the cover of this book. She then proceeded to tell me that I am the only white girl in town. Which is also true and hilarious.
