Our students at Gaffney Lane are benefiting from both items immensely in both PE classes and for assemblies.\r\n\r\nBy using the speaker, students get to run to music, learn new dances, and have been able to follow some exercise songs to become healthier. We use the speaker EVERYDAY in PE. \r\n\r\nThe microphone system is being used to that students can hear instruction loud and clear. I use it to motivate kids by calling on the positive performance of an activity (showcasing skills well done). Kids even want to give positive shout outs to other students.\r\n\r\nWe have used both of the speaker and the microphone system for assemblies as well. I even had kids do a \"surprise\" dance for our staff.\r\n\r\nI feel like our PE program went to the next level using both of these new products.\r\n\r\nPlease see the picture I included of 2nd graders saying \"THANK YOU ESPN AND CFP!\"","fullyFundedDate":1734705342451,"projectUrl":"project/music-in-pe-makes-it-fun/8928897/","projectTitle":"Music in PE Makes It Fun!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Archer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9827105_orig.jpg?crop=1170,1170,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1730912838690","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9827105"},{"teacherId":9828343,"projectId":8938331,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your amazing generous donations. The students at Gaffney Lane were so excited to see all the new tools for the Grizzly Den. \r\n\r\nThe new lights have created a much calmer atmosphere for students and staff to take a few minutes and relax. Several teachers have commented on how calm the Den feels and they would like to stay all day. A couple students recently have curled up in the bean bag seat and fallen a sleep.\r\n\r\nThe regulation tools are a huge hit. \r\nThe kids love the calm ball. They ask it, \"how can I calm down\" and then do what it says. They also like the emotion blocks. The breathing mountain is very useful with our young students.\r\n\r\nThe books have been a great help. The flip book has help kids identify how they are feeling and strategies to use to feel better. The older kids like the Its Ok Not To Be Ok book.\r\n\r\nThank you so much.
