Your support has brought us an exciting collection of middle school books, including graphic novels and works from diverse authors that reflect the identities and experiences of our students. These new titles are already sparking curiosity and fueling meaningful conversations about culture, identity, and storytelling.\r\n\r\nYour kindness also helped me to create a warm and inviting reading corner with comfortable chairs and soft lighting. This cozy space has quickly become a favorite spot in my classroom community, giving students a place where they feel safe, valued, and excited to read. Many of them have shared how special it feels to have a space designed just for them to relax and enjoy a good book.\r\n\r\nStudents are able to self-select texts that are not only engaging and diverse but at their reading level due to the variety of texts that were provided by your donations. In class, we work together on a shared book to learn how to identify and analyze literature elements. Then, students are able to apply these skills to books of their own choosing as well. \r\n\r\nWe are truly grateful for your investment in our students' growth and love of reading.
