Your support has made an immediate and meaningful impact—ensuring that students who may be facing food insecurity, who forgot to bring something from home, or who simply need a small comfort on a tough day have what they need to reset and refocus. These snacks are more than just food; they're a message to our students that they are seen, valued, and supported.\r\n\r\nIt's not uncommon for our staff to dip into their own pockets to keep this effort going, so to have a donor step in with such kindness and generosity means more than we can say. Your contribution has lifted a real burden and has allowed us to expand the reach of this simple but essential support system. Students are better able to engage, concentrate, and learn when their basic needs are met—and your gift helps make that possible every single day.\r\n\r\nThank you for being a part of the village it takes to care for and educate our youth. Your generosity has filled our cabinets and our hearts, and we are truly grateful for your partnership in creating a nurturing and responsive school environment. Over the few weeks the students have been using the calculators on a daily basis, including on daily work, quizzes, and tests. The impact of having enough calculators for every student to have one has been incredible. \r\n\r\n Not too long ago my 4 classes, of 32-26 students each, had been sharing a total of 12 calculators. This made everything slower and we would really love students to have their phones off and away, but without enough calculators, students were allowed to use their phones which made things hard to manage. Students were distracted with their phones, and instead of doing math, I caught many playing games, on social media, or texting friends. Since the calculators arrived, phones have gone back to the phone cubby on the wall, so they are off and way all period. \r\n\r\n This donation will affect not just my students this year, but for many years to come, as this classroom set will now live and breath with every new students that steps into my classroom. Thank you so much for helping me get the needed supplies for my math students. I am forever grateful and will definitely pay forward something to others who also have DonorsChoose projects.","fullyFundedDate":1740326270674,"projectUrl":"project/calculators-for-our-classroom/9122870/","projectTitle":"Calculators for Our Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Jones","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9928034_orig.jpg?crop=400,400,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1741667968811","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9928034"},{"teacherId":9818632,"projectId":8907723,"letterContent":"We are so excited about our new Keurig coffee machine.
