That extra time adds up and allows us to spend more class time making music.\r\n\r\nWhen students first received their binders, many were excited to personalize them and proudly put their names on the front. Several students commented that having \"everything in one place\" made band feel more manageable and less stressful. For some, this was the first time they had a clear system for organizing their music, and it gave them a new sense of responsibility and ownership over their learning.\r\n\r\nThese binders are now an essential part of our daily routines and align directly with our school-wide AVID focus on organization and preparedness. Our next steps include teaching students how to maintain their binders over time, track their progress, and use their materials effectively for at-home practice and upcoming performances.
