We have been able to use the equipment to create new games, outdoor challenges, team activities, and rewards that encourage students to stay active, work together, and give their best effort.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was watching the students' reactions when they first saw all of the new materials. They immediately started asking what we were going to do with everything and when they would get to use it! That excitement is exactly what I hoped this project would create. Even something as simple as turning an activity into a treasure hunt or adding a new piece of equipment can completely change how excited a student is to participate.\r\n\r\nWe will continue using these resources throughout the school year to create new PE games, fitness challenges, outdoor adventures, team-building activities, and special events. I also plan to use the materials to reward sportsmanship, effort, improvement, kindness, and positive choices.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, these resources are helping me give my students experiences they will remember.
