Giving them the opportunity to choose where they learn has made a noticeable difference in their focus and engagement. One of my favorite moments was watching a student who usually has a difficult time staying seated choose a floor cushion during reading. He remained engaged for the entire lesson and was excited to share his work afterward. The motivational posters have also become great conversation starters as we talk about perseverance, kindness, and doing our best each day. I have already started using the IEP meeting book to stay organized and keep important information together, making it much easier to collaborate with families and service providers.\r\nHow did your students react when they first saw the materials?\r\nThe students were thrilled when they walked into the classroom and saw the new seating options. They couldn't wait to pick their favorite spot and immediately asked if they could use the cushions during our lessons. The excitement made the classroom feel even more welcoming, and my students took pride in helping care for the new materials. They love having choices, and something as simple as deciding where to sit has helped them feel more comfortable and confident throughout the day.\r\nWhat are the next steps for your students on a current classroom lesson or project?\r\nAs the school year continues, we'll keep using the flexible seating during reading, writing, math, and social skills lessons to help students stay focused and engaged. My goal is to continue building a classroom where students feel supported, comfortable, and excited to learn. The motivational posters will reinforce the growth mindset and positive behaviors we practice every day, while the IEP meeting book will help me stay organized so I can continue providing the best support possible for each student's individual needs.\r\nThank you!\r\nYour generosity has helped create a classroom where students feel comfortable, supported, and ready to learn. One of their favorite activities was making a baking soda and vinegar reaction. They loved putting on their safety glasses and gloves just like real scientists before making predictions and observing what happened. It was exciting to watch them ask questions, make observations, and talk about what they saw instead of simply reading about it in a book.\r\nHow did your students react when they first saw the materials?\r\nMy students were so excited when they saw the new science supplies arrive.
