They have been able to enjoy the knew hands on toys and experiences. The smiles that we have seen from our donations has been joyful. We are learning how to read and write our letters and numbers. Our new trace and write boards have been helpful in fulfilling this skill. \r\n\r\nWe also received little figurines from around the world to play with in our doll house. Showing our students that families are diverse has given my students empathy for their classmates. They love seeing dolls that look like their own families.\r\n\r\nAgain, I can not thank you all enough for your generosity and support.","fullyFundedDate":1746787347657,"projectUrl":"project/enhancing-student-engagement-through-inn/9125314/","projectTitle":"Enhancing Student Engagement through Innovative Learning Centers","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Brown","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp2001682_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1539194025157","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2001682"},{"teacherId":9026798,"projectId":8467572,"letterContent":"I hope this note finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the generous donation of resources. Your support has truly made a positive impact on both my students and me, and I'd love to share how we've been using the materials.\r\n\r\nThe card stock paper has been a fantastic addition to our reading comprehension activities. My students have thoroughly enjoyed creating crafts related to our lessons, which helps them engage more deeply with the material. A specific project we worked on recently involved creating penguin crafts while learning about the animals. The hands-on activity allowed the students to better understand the content and made reading comprehension more fun and interactive.\r\n\r\nThe STEM toys have been a big hit during our center time. My students eagerly dive into building and problem-solving with the toys, which has sparked creativity and teamwork. It's wonderful to see how engaged they become while learning important concepts in science and engineering through play.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, the water bottles and stickers have brought a lot of joy to the classroom. The water bottles have encouraged students to stay hydrated throughout the day, while the stickers have been a great incentive to celebrate their hard work and progress.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, their excitement was contagious! They couldn't wait to start using everything, and their enthusiasm has continued to grow as we incorporate these resources into our daily routine. It's amazing to see how much the students are benefiting from your thoughtful donation.\r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. Your contribution is making a real difference in our classroom, and I'm truly grateful for the impact it's having on my students' learning experiences.\r\n \r\nNext steps I am wanting to take is start a project getting donations to attend the Get Your Teach On Conference this summer in Dallas Tx, It is one of the biggest teacher professional development conferences in the nation. Its a four day conference focused on research based teaching practices and innovated strategies on teaching that is grade level specific.","fullyFundedDate":1728010548555,"projectUrl":"project/cheers-to-new-beginnings/8467572/","projectTitle":"Cheers to New Beginnings","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Javier Gonzalez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9026798_orig.png?crop=520,520,x0,y22&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1717538662862","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9026798"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_87060","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":229,"numTeachers":21,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":12,"percentBlack":23,"percentWhite":27,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":17,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 2","studentTeacherRatio":"10.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":74.7,"schoolId":87060,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Kirkland Early Childhood Center on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Kirkland Early Childhood Center","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/oklahoma/putnam-city-schools/kirkland-elementary-school/87060"}
