These biographies spotlight influential figures—both well-known and unsung—who have shaped our state's story, from tribal leaders to civil rights activists, artists, and entrepreneurs.\r\n\r\nFor many of these students, this is their first time seeing local heroes who reflect their own communities, cultures, and aspirations.
