All the items have been received and are being installed in our daily routine. Thanks to the timing we were able to implement most of the items while the students were at Thanksgiving break. \r\nWith the power strip towers, my students are able to keep their devices charged throughout the day, which prevents a disruption in their learning. The command strips and neon decor has brightened up our space and made the room feel more inviting. The organization provided by the pegboard has made access to shared items more efficient.\r\n\r\nOur semester is winding down, and the additional excitement with the new items makes each student more excited to come back for the next semester. It also made it feel like the holidays came early!","fullyFundedDate":1763585203817,"projectUrl":"project/recharging-our-technology-classroom-for/9879602/","projectTitle":"Recharging our Technology Classroom for Success","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Faulkner","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10343351_orig.jpg?crop=1975,1975,x604,y1048&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1762463640470","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10343351"},{"teacherId":5486638,"projectId":9335664,"letterContent":"I can not THANK YOU enough for supporting my project. It was so amazing to receive notification that I had been funded. This ESPORTS year has seen more growth than any other year of play. We started our program about 3 years ago. I have purchased a lot of new equipment and items over the course of the 3 years for the kids to use. I wanted a large board to write their schedule on where they could look up and see it at all times. It was amazing that you all ordered it for me. I so appreciate you investing in our program. \r\n\r\nIt has been a great start to our year. We are serving 94 High School Students and 86 Middle School age students. This again is a great start to our biggest year and you were so generous with supporting us. Again Thank you so very much for the lights, markers and especially the board. It was truly a benefit for our program.","fullyFundedDate":1755610143914,"projectUrl":"project/new-gaming-esport-coding-career-pathwa/9335664/","projectTitle":"New Gaming, Esport, Coding Career Pathway","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Johnson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5486638_orig.jpg?crop=361,361,x104,y59&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1643957326539","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/jan-johnson"},{"teacherId":9669642,"projectId":9263219,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation to support my 10th-grade Pre-AP students! Your contribution allowed every student to have access to \"How to Read Literature Like a Professor for Kids\" by Thomas C. Foster. This book is vital for helping them uncover deeper meanings in literature and succeed in their English studies. This book will not only enhance their understanding of literature during this year but also prepare them for future success in AP Literature next year. Our AP Literature class has read All the Pretty Horses for the first time this year. Studying this novel will allow them to be better prepared to analyze texts and perform successfully on the AP Literature exam in May. We will begin reading Their Eyes Were Watching God in March. This is a novel that I love, so I am looking forward to teaching it for the first time.\r\n\r\nMy regular 10th-grade classes wanted to read Fahrenheit 451, but we did not have enough copies for an entire class to read. I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support in providing books and cardstock for our classroom library. Your contribution has profoundly impacted my teaching and students' learning experiences.\r\n\r\nThanks to your kindness, our library has been enriched with various engaging and thought-provoking books. These resources have sparked my students' newfound enthusiasm for reading and have also become invaluable tools in teaching literary devices and elements.\r\n\r\nUsing the books you provided, I have designed lessons that bring literary concepts to life. Whether exploring themes, analyzing character development, or identifying figurative language, my students have shown remarkable growth in understanding and applying these skills. Seeing their faces light up when they uncover the meaning behind a metaphor or connect with a character's journey is truly rewarding and a direct result of your generosity.\r\n\r\nOne of the highlights this year was when we used \"The Together Tree\" to examine symbolism and its role in storytelling. The narrative captivated the students, and they engaged in vibrant discussions, showcasing their critical thinking and creativity. These moments remind me of the power of literature to inspire and educate.\r\n\r\nMy students have benefited from the cardstock because they have been given bookmarks with key components for each unit and colorful, engaging handouts with essential information for new components. These will be treasures that I can reuse in my classroom, and they will benefit many students. \r\n\r\nYour support has made a tangible difference in our classroom. You have enriched our library and empowered my students to become confident readers and thinkers. On behalf of myself and all the students whose lives you have touched, thank you for believing in the importance of education and the transformative power of books.","fullyFundedDate":1731768793523,"projectUrl":"project/library-of-literary-elements/8508875/","projectTitle":"Library of Literary Elements","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Reeves","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8322090_orig.jpg?crop=1078,1078,x0,y89&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1691863633089","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8322090"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_87309","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":478,"numTeachers":29,"percentFrplEligible":55,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":45,"percentIndigenous":38,"percentLatinx":7,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"16.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":61.8,"schoolId":87309,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Muldrow High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Muldrow High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/oklahoma/muldrow-public-schools/muldrow-high-school/87309"}
