These materials have truly transformed our STEM learning space and have had an immediate and lasting impact on student engagement, creativity, and collaboration. From the moment the supplies arrived, the excitement in the room was contagious, and that excitement has continued as students explore new ways to build, design, and problem-solve.\r\n\r\nWhen the students walked into the room and saw the boxes, they immediately wanted to know what was inside. They could hardly wait to open them, and once we did, the curiosity and joy were evident. Students were eager to touch, explore, and begin creating right away. These materials sparked instant conversations, questions, and ideas, turning our classroom into a hub of innovation and imagination.\r\n\r\nThe students were especially excited about the new building supplies. The Strawbees quickly became a favorite, as students worked together to design structures, test stability, and redesign when something didn't work. They learned firsthand that failure is part of the engineering process and that perseverance leads to better solutions. These activities naturally encouraged teamwork, communication, and critical thinking.\r\n\r\nAir Tubz have also been a huge hit! Students love experimenting with airflow, movement, and cause-and-effect relationships. They enjoy testing how objects move through the tubes and making predictions before adjusting their designs. This hands-on exploration has helped reinforce science concepts in a way that is meaningful, memorable, and fun.\r\n\r\nThe Clixo magnets have become another classroom favorite. Students are constantly finding new ways to create shapes, structures, and designs using their imagination. These magnets allow students of all ability levels to participate and feel successful, building confidence along with creativity. I have seen students who are usually hesitant jump right in, eager to show what they have built.\r\n\r\nWhat makes these materials even more special is that they will continue to be used year after year with all of my students. They support open-ended learning, encourage creativity, and align perfectly with our STEM goals. I am so grateful for the generosity that made this possible. These supplies have enriched our classroom, inspired my students, and provided meaningful learning experiences that will last far beyond this school year. Thank you for making such a powerful difference in our students' education.","fullyFundedDate":1762265369948,"projectUrl":"project/future-scientists-at-play/9585426/","projectTitle":"Future Scientists at Play","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hilburn","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5565023_orig.jpg?crop=378,378,x0,y7&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1733755875591","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/hilburnskclass"},{"teacherId":8823443,"projectId":9589471,"letterContent":"The arch is incredible! This made it so much easier instead of passing out paper to everyone. \r\nI used the clear storage containers to store all of the great items in our class.
