My special education students were buzzing with curiosity as we brought the boxes to our group area and revealed the new STEM materials for our classroom - as you can imagine they all erupted in cheers and happy squeals. They didn't just see \"toys\", they saw an invitation to explore, build, and learn in a sensory friendly way that better meets their needs. \r\n\r\n We have been using these new STEM resources daily during our centers and free-choice time, and the impact has been nothing short of transformative. These hands-on manipulatives are perfect for my diverse learners, helping to bridge their academic gaps as well as their social emotional needs through cooperative play. Thank you for providing us some much needed tools my students can now use moving forward to build self confidence and prove to themselves just how bright they can shine!","fullyFundedDate":1764868560529,"projectUrl":"project/stem-for-special-education-inspire-hand/9902909/","projectTitle":"Stem for Special Education: Inspire Hands-on Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ford","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9518110_orig.jpg?crop=2429,2429,x653,y1122&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757143577641","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-fords"},{"teacherId":9518110,"projectId":9690864,"letterContent":"What a blessing you have given my students - I cannot even begin to thank you enough! From the moment the boxes arrived in our classroom, every student (and teacher) felt like it was Christmas day! But the true magic happened the moment we plugged in our new light table, and set the entire classroom aglow! It wasn't just new furniture to them, it was an invitation to explore, touch and learn in a new way that felt more like play! \r\n\r\n We are currently using these resources daily during our literacy and math centers to support our multi-sensory learning goals. A specific learning moment that stands out happened just last week with a student who has been working hard on letter recognition. Using our new transparent letters on the illuminated surface, she was able to successfully stay focused, identify, and order all the letters in her name - and proudly shared her accomplishment with the entire group! \r\n\r\n We can't wait to continue building on our academic opportunities in the coming months, and know thanks to you, we now have the materials we need to also develop their fine motor skills and muscle memory in a sensory friendly learning environment.","fullyFundedDate":1763068589176,"projectUrl":"project/watch-us-shine-bright-with-illuminated-l/9690864/","projectTitle":"Watch Us Shine Bright With Illuminated Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ford","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9518110_orig.jpg?crop=2429,2429,x653,y1122&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757143577641","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-fords"},{"teacherId":537194,"projectId":9301513,"letterContent":"I absolutely LOVE when I get new packages for my classroom. The glow in the dark marbles adds a new adventure! \r\n\r\nWatching the students play Candy land helps encourage social skills, turn-taking, and following directions.
