It is wonderful to see them actively participating in lessons and gaining confidence as they explain their ideas and work together to find solutions.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new markers, they were excited to use them! Having these materials allows students to show their work, make mistakes, correct their thinking, and try again without worrying about wasting paper. During classroom activities, students can work with their classmates, compare strategies, and learn that there is often more than one way to approach a problem. Students thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on science experiments! They were able to do experiments that followed along with their curriculum for 6th, 7th and 8th grades. It helped students gain a full understanding of each chapter we covered.\r\n\r\nFor many students it is hard to grasp science without the hands-on piece. The availability of science experiments in the classroom enabled them to be able to grasp hard to learn concepts and actually made science exciting.
