Thank you so much for your generous contribution. Your support has made a meaningful impact in our classroom, and we are truly grateful. Because of your donation, our students now have access to an interactive learning tool during small groups that has already transformed the way they learn. This tool engages students more deeply by allowing them to explore concepts hands-on, collaborate with classmates, and receive immediate feedback. It has boosted participation, strengthened critical thinking skills, and created an environment where all students, regardless of their learning style, can succeed.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, our students are excited to learn. They are more confident, motivated, and eager to explore new ideas. Your generosity didn't just provide a resource; it expanded possibilities and empowered our learners to thrive. Now, with printed visuals, laminated manipulatives, and reusable activity sheets, they can explore ideas hands-on, practice repeatedly, and learn collaboratively. I've seen their excitement grow as they use these materials — even those who were once shy to participate are now more eager to join group activities and discussions.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has made a lasting difference in our learning environment. The moment I told them it was from DonorsChoose, the whole class lit up with excitement and many remembered the other resources we've received in the past and knew this was something special for them.\r\n\r\nThe biggest thrill came when I announced that we now had plenty of headphones for independent learning. The room instantly buzzed with energy, students were practically bouncing in their seats and raising their hands, eager to borrow one so they could get started right away. It was wonderful to see how something so simple could make them so motivated to learn on their own.\r\n\r\nI also shared that we had shelves coming in to help organize our classroom. Some of my students, especially the girls, quickly volunteered to help arrange and set things up. Their willingness to pitch in and take ownership showed just how excited and invested they were in making our classroom a better place.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have been the most exciting addition. In today's classroom, technology is used daily for independent learning whether it's listening to reading passages, practicing math fluency, or completing online lessons. With headphones, students can focus on their own work without distractions, creating a calm and productive environment. As soon as I announced that we now had plenty for everyone, they all raised their hands eagerly, wanting to borrow one right away for their activities. Their joy made it clear how much these simple tools help them learn better.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, my students now have tools that make independent learning more engaging and our classroom more organized. One of the first things they did was use the new colored pencils and markers to color their thank-you messages for you. They wanted to make sure their notes were bright and special!\r\n\r\nWe've also been putting the supplies to use in different ways. During math, the students loved using the Play-Doh to form numbers and even create simple equations, it turned practice into something fun and hands-on.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to use the supplies for a storytelling project where each student will write and illustrate an original short story. Something as simple as having fresh markers and a clear space to share their ideas made them eager to participate. The very first day we used them, students were volunteering to solve problems at the board and even helping each other show their work step by step. For many of them, just being able to write clearly in front of their classmates gave them a boost of confidence.\r\n\r\nThese resources have already become a big part of our daily lessons. In STEM activities, small groups now come up to the board to share their solutions, compare strategies, and explain their thinking. One moment that stood out was when a group of students collaborated on a math problem they debated which method was best, wrote out different strategies side by side, and then cheered when they finally agreed on the correct solution. Having the whiteboard and supplies made this type of teamwork possible and fun.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, these tools will continue to support hands-on learning and interactive lessons. We plan to use the board for quick review games, brainstorming during science experiments, and showcasing student-created word problems. Because of your generosity, my students are not only learning content but also practicing collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills. Thank you for giving them the chance to shine every day in the classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1746820156941,"projectUrl":"project/building-future-innovators-robotics-and/9292135/","projectTitle":"Building Future Innovators: Robotics and STEM in Action","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Panoso","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9970102_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1742095537377","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9970102"},{"teacherId":9970102,"projectId":9176378,"letterContent":"Since Ohio State Testing began, the resources you helped provide have become a vital part of our daily review sessions. My students use the whiteboards and markers during board drills to practice Math, ELA, and Science questions. Each child now has their own whiteboard to work on, which has made our lessons more interactive and efficient. Before, we constantly struggled with dried-out markers and worn-out supplies, but now the kids have everything they need to stay engaged and confident in their learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the supplies first arrived, the excitement in the room was unforgettable—my students screamed with joy! They were thrilled to finally have fresh materials to use. It might seem like a small thing, but to them, having their own working whiteboard and enough markers was a huge deal. These resources have not only improved the quality of our lessons but also boosted my students' motivation and participation.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, your generosity will continue to make a difference. In May, as part of our school's end-of-year projects, my students will be building water filtration system models and designing their own Rube Goldberg machines. The whiteboards and markers will be crucial as they brainstorm, plan, sketch, and revise their designs in teams. These hands-on STEM projects are the perfect way to apply what they've learned this year, and because of you, they'll have the tools they need to think like real scientists and engineers.
