They enjoy using them and building creative things and working with a partner on things. They have also loved the many books we received. They have loved being able to read the books in the morning when they arrive.\r\n\r\nThe students have also enjoyed getting the mini erasers. They were in awe of all the new things. Most of the materials were used to set up our library and calming corner, along with some STEM activities. My students' favorite thing had to be the Legos. They play with them ALL the time. The Legos helped my students who have disabilities a lot. They use the Legos to help them with math problems. They also love to build with them in between classroom activities. The Legos also helped them create stories by building their characters, and being able to interact with the characters made for more detailed writing. The pillows would have to be a close second. I have a lot of kiddos with sensory issues and sensory overload, so they go to the calming corner and hug or lie with the pillows to decompress and calm down.
