As soon as I announced to my class that funding was granted, the students were ecstatic. They were beaming at each box that was delivered for us to open. We immediately set expectations for each item, so they can stay like-new as long as possible for many classes to come. \r\n\r\nI use the magnetic math manipulatives each day during whole group math instruction. It has inspired students to use their math manipulatives to solve problems on their own as well. Students feel so much pride in leading the class in our daily math journal while getting to use our new colored, magnetic dry-erase markers. Furthermore, the dry-erase clipboards have allowed students to engage in problem-solving strategies while using flexible seating options around the room, as well as take lessons outside for more hands-on experiences!
