Thank you so much for your generosity, it touches my heart to see people give our students resources to make their classroom the space they need and deserve to flourish. \r\n\r\nThe organizers match well with the classroom layout, and are giving us room to grow as we get more resources. The articles are interesting, relevant, informational, accurate and provide necessary facts that assist with students' mental, physical, and emotional health. We will use these articles both formally and just have them available for students to read when they find them interesting. In addition, we are able to share some of the magazines with other classes since there are extra, so we will make sure to use the donations to help as many students as possible! \r\nEvery donation of materials makes our jobs easier and students happier. These scholastic articles are no exception, you have provided our class a wonderful resource to help them with life skills that go beyond school. I am beyond excited to see all the great things we can do with these articles this year. One of the best things is that students like having a break from the computer sometimes, so having magazines that are well written and have great graphics is a nice break for kids. My students have been enjoying the surprises as I have brought out each part of the resources. When I see an opportunity to praise a student who has been struggling, I try to follow it up with a small surprise for them and the class. Some of the fidget toys have been given as those surprises, and used well by all! \r\nWe have had a chance to play some of the games, and these opportunities have allowed the class to relax, interact with their peers and us in collaborative ways, and learn new skills. As students came back this school year, they have already asked me when we can have another game day! \r\nTwo specific students have not been to school in a couple of years. They were very anxious about returning to school and overwhelmed. One day after some of the games had come in, I pulled them next door and had them learn a game with me. They then taught the game to the class. This empowered them and gave them confidence that they are just as intelligent as their peers and have something to contribute to our class. I look forward to many more opportunities to use all these resources to help my students grow. \r\nA few of the fidgets were meant for younger students, so I donated these to a teacher who works with students with autism. She too was grateful, since she usually purchases this on her own. None of the resources will go to waste! \r\nThank you again for your thoughtful gift. It means so much to know that others in the community care about our classes and can help share the expenses.","fullyFundedDate":1746552907494,"projectUrl":"project/giggling-games-galore-teaching-throug/9261174/","projectTitle":"Giggling Games Galore...
