Your support has truly made a difference in our students' learning experience.\r\n\r\nWhen the kits first arrived, students were very excited. They kept asking me when we would be dissecting and told me they couldn't wait. Unfortunately we didnt have time to dissect until after state testing, so we finally started this week.\r\n\r\nWe recently used the kits during our life sciences unit, in which students explored the anatomy of rats. It was incredible to watch them work collaboratively, carefully examining each organ and connecting what they saw to the diagrams and lessons we had studied. Students were able to draw parallells between rats and humans as the anatomy is very similar. \r\n\r\nThanks to your contribution, our students are not only learning science—they're experiencing it firsthand. This experience will deepen their understanding of biological systems and evolution, and the dissection kits will be an essential part of that journey.\r\n\r\nYour generosity gave our students a window into the world of science, and for that, we are truly grateful. My students were able to make bracelets and also showcase them. They got very creative and gifted them to their peers. They were so excited to be able to make something to make others feel good. \r\nMy students were also able to create posters and make cards to send to other students in their grades at other schools. They were filled with affirmations and encouragement for peers to keep going on days they might want to give up. \r\nIn the pictures you can see the journals which were perfect for them. We started a girls group and focused on mean girls and cliques. This also tied into the play/musical of the Mean Girls. My students are very thankful for all of your donations.
