They were so happy and extremely grateful. When students complete a course, they earn some snacks. At the beginning of the year, the 3 big bags of sour patch kids were used as prizes to the 1st three students who completed a course. This was a success because it motivated students who had not been doing any work.\r\n\r\n The snacks will continue to be incentives for the credit recovery students. Your donations are super helpful in motivating some of my more challenging students. For that, I am deeply grateful. This has helped so much. My students were so excited when they saw them. When I opened the supplies up, the students were all asking if they could have one. I was so happy they liked them. Many students struggle with staying focused, so we have been working on setting times of work and a time to use their sensory-motor materials or fidget spinners. \r\n It has really helped the low-incidence students. One student, in particular, was not completing his work. We worked with him, and we talked to him to set up a plan. His work would be broken down by work and activities with the sensory-motor play. He is not completing his work, because he gets to do book work and play. This was a game changer because there are so many objects to introduce him too. \r\n The fidget spinners and stress balls are available to all students who need them for school time. They are also available to earn them with work and behavior. Overall, the students are grateful to have them.
