The student was nervous to share information but the fidget toys helped them calm their body and helped them open up their communication. The snacks have also been incredibly helpful during morning classes, giving students a quick boost. Most of the football plays would come get a snack in between bells on the days they have morning workouts. Thank you we really appreciate you proving those resources to our students. Others were simply grateful to have something to help them get through the school day. It has already reduced a lot of the stress and anxiety some of our students carry with them, and it's made my space feel even more like a safe, welcoming place where they can breathe and reset.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, these resources will continue to support the work we're doing around attendance, mental health, and emotional regulation. When students' basic needs are met, they're more able to focus on the social-emotional skills we're building together.
