It's been a long year, but my students have loved everything that we were able to receive! I set up the cube organizer as the extra bookshelf immediately and it worked out perfectly! It's much more sturdy than the one we had previously and holds all of the books that needed storage! They have been playing with the cash register nearly every day. It's helped so much with number recognition and small number addition! They also love the community helper vests and we switch them out often. The kids used the color mix glasses to learn about primary and secondary colors. They used the air dry clay to create animals for a fun animal study activity with their families! We just recently talked about the Earth for Earth Day and I used the planet book and model. Overall, my students absolutely loved everything! They loved retelling \"the Very Hungry Caterpillar\", and got a little challenge from figuring out the correct life cycles from the pack. Before this, a lot of my students didn't realize that frogs came from eggs! Science has always been something that I make sure that I go out of my way to teach, and this was a perfect supplement!\r\n\r\nOn the other side of things were the art materials. The puffy paint had been something that we had created on our own before, but the new, bright colors were a fun surprise! We used it immediately and I had to quickly limit the use or it would've been gone that same day! We also did a fun activity with stamps and the new ink that we received, creating a different way to showcase a beloved book, \"Chicka Chicka Boom Boom!\" by putting letter stamps all over a drawing of a coconut tree.
