The students are excited to write on the table practicing breaking apart words, playing reinforcement games, handwriting and completing sentences. The school year just started so I am sure we are going to be using the table numerous times throughout the day. The table also provides the ability to easily adjust the height which allows for comfort from kindergarten up through fifth grade. \r\n\r\nYour generosity is very much appreciated. They take real ownership of our resource room—it's their space—and this project made it feel even more like home. While they might not notice the magic of items like the laminating paper, file folders, or disinfecting wipes directly, they feel the impact. Because of those tools, I can organize better, laminate helpful charts and visuals, and keep things running smoothly so they can focus on learning.\r\n\r\nThe kids especially love the 400 Conversation Starters set—we've turned it into a daily \"Question of the Day\" routine that helps build their social skills and brings laughter and genuine connection into the room. It's become a special part of our mornings. They're also all about the new math games, and the graph paper we got is just their size, so they're actually choosing to use it more to help with neatness and problem solving. It's the little things that add up.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, we've been able to refresh our classroom and kick off a new wave of energy and learning. This project didn't just give us stuff—it gave us structure, fun, and a boost in confidence that my students truly needed. Thank you for believing in us.","fullyFundedDate":1739677638844,"projectUrl":"project/fine-tuning-my-classroom-for-a-fresh-sta/9076021/","projectTitle":"Fine-Tuning My Classroom for a Fresh Start!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Antol","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9726649_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1725377147436","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9726649"},{"teacherId":9726649,"projectId":8734409,"letterContent":"Thanks again so much for giving to my classroom! The students were beyond excited to see all the new things in the room. I achieved my goal of creating a comfortable and safe place to learn and reflect. \r\n\r\nThe students especially loved the new carpets and flexible seating options, like the bean bag chairs and wobble stools. These additions have completely transformed the classroom environment, making it more inviting and student-centered. The carpets have become a favorite spot for group discussions and quiet reading time, while the wobble stools and bean bag chairs give students the flexibility to choose seating that helps them focus and stay comfortable. Seeing the excitement on their faces as they explored the new seating options was heartwarming, and it's clear these changes have had a positive impact on their engagement and overall learning experience.\r\n\r\nWith your generous donation, I was also able to purchase engaging learning games for the class, which have quickly become student favorites. The word game CVC Pop has been a huge hit, helping students practice consonant-vowel-consonant patterns in a fun and interactive way. The math game Close the Box, which involves dice and addition, has been equally popular, sharpening their math skills while fostering friendly competition. Additionally, the Math Pop It game has added a tactile and exciting element to learning, making math practice both enjoyable and memorable. These games have turned learning into an adventure the students look forward to every day!\r\n\r\nYour donations have not only made a difference for my students but have also been a tremendous help to me as their teacher. By funding essential classroom needs, you've allowed me to focus more fully on providing targeted interventions to support academic growth and addressing critical social-emotional learning goals. \r\n\r\nWith these resources in place, I can dedicate more time and energy to creating meaningful, individualized learning experiences that empower my students to thrive both academically and emotionally.
