A one-pager is a way to assess students by having them create a visual understanding of content areas. It has components of writing, drawing, coloring and key information. It has helped me allow students to express their understanding of content both visually and in writing, rather than assesing using a standard test format. \r\nMy 6th grade students were excited to be able to use their artistic abilites and imaginations when creating their projects from the book, The Dot. \r\nThe book, Posted has allowed students to better understand how technology should be used and how it can impact others. Having the opportunity to use books in teaching has provided an engaging way for students to learn and understand. \r\nStudents utilize the headphones on a daily basis to listen to music while they work to motivate themselves.
