Making that connection helped them see the purpose of the training beyond just lifting weights, it made them stronger, more confident dancers.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, students will continue using the equipment to build endurance, strength, and injury-prevention skills that support their growth in dance. We used the new resources to turn board game experiences into dance. Students played games, reflecting on challenges like strategy and teamwork, and then created dance phrases to express those moments. It helped them physically embody problem-solving and collaboration. We also used these games to come together as a group during lunch to refresh our minds and de stress with finals. \r\n\r\nWhen I pulled out the games the students faces lit up. At first, students were curious but unsure how dance could represent board game experiences. Once they started creating movements to reflect their gameplay, they became excited and engaged, enjoying the creative process.\r\n\r\nNext, students will experiment with group formations, showing how collaboration or solo strategies in games can translate into movement.
