These boards help create clear physical and visual boundaries, giving students a stronger sense of structure and predictability in the classroom. With visual schedules and activity boards always within reach, students can independently reference what they need to do next without relying on constant verbal reminders.\r\n\r\nThis easy access to visuals has increased self-reliance, reduced anxiety, and allowed students to stay focused and engaged. The rolling design also gives us the flexibility to adapt the classroom for different activities while still maintaining clear expectations and routines. Most importantly, these tools support our students in building confidence and independence.\r\n\r\nOur students are bright, determined, and capable—and because of your support, they now have the tools they need to shine even more. Thank you for investing in their success and helping create a learning environment where every student can thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1760720533292,"projectUrl":"project/clear-boundaries-bright-minds/9550833/","projectTitle":"Clear Boundaries, Bright Minds","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Stevenson-Bennett","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1537635_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y846&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1677851650977","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/erin-stevenson-bennett"},{"teacherId":651048,"projectId":9520725,"letterContent":"For the first time, we have a truly NEW piece of furniture! The morning after the box arrived, our custodians assembled the carrel before students showed up for school. (Thank you to our amazing custodians!) It blends in beautifully with the rest of our classroom like it was meant to be. Its shiny new polish adds vibrancy to the space.\r\n\r\nThe carrel was immediately a go-to spot for a couple of students needing a focused space to take their test. For others, it has been a quiet work or \"office\" space for them. One student asked, \"May I sit there because I really need to focus, so I can do well on this test?\" What great self-awareness and use of resources. I've enjoyed watching them take shared ownership of the desk.","fullyFundedDate":1760720188001,"projectUrl":"project/corral-the-carrel/9520725/","projectTitle":"Corral the Carrel!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Payne","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp651048_orig.jpg?crop=328,328,x341,y44&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1692485949405","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/srpayne"},{"teacherId":651048,"projectId":9496410,"letterContent":"Having the tools to help students get and stay organized is a game changer. It helps their executive functioning skills--and my sanity! Thank you greatly for being a part of making this happen!\r\n\r\nThe pencil pouches were undoubtedly the big hit from this project. The kids loved picking out their own color and \"shopping\" for the supplies. They excitedly brainstormed ways to use the bonus outside pocket. Many opted to keep their smaller items like glue sticks and sticky notes in it.\r\n\r\nThe binders have likewise been a tremendous help to house our daily lesson sheets, word practice packets, writing skills practice, and vocabulary activities.","fullyFundedDate":1757461578678,"projectUrl":"project/organization-101/9496410/","projectTitle":"Organization 101","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Payne","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp651048_orig.jpg?crop=328,328,x341,y44&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1692485949405","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/srpayne"},{"teacherId":651048,"projectId":9491633,"letterContent":"You are making it happen! Repetition of skills in engaging ways makes a significant impact on students' learning to decode (read) words and spell. Having funding to purchase teacher-created activities that accomplish this has been a timesaver for me. More importantly, it has made learning more engaging for my students.\r\n\r\nSome fan favorites are the dice-based games like roll-and-read words and sentences and spinner games such as spin-and-spell words. Their engagement has increased tenfold. \r\n\r\nThe students love the comic phonics books. They read the stories not just because they are engaging, but also because they are middle school looking which is a contrast to the elementary feel that so many decodable books have. The drawing boards are like magic--magic in how they motivate the students and in their functionality. The boards lack of permanence reminds the students that practice is an opportunity to learn. Mistakes are okay and give chances for them to grow. \r\n\r\nWe are beyond excited to try out all of the materials--the puzzles and puzzle books, too.","fullyFundedDate":1739691728385,"projectUrl":"project/lights-books-art/9024339/","projectTitle":"Lights!
