They are now in the build season for their competition and started building their robot last week. They will use all of the tools they received in the construction and testing of the robot.\r\n\r\nBefore build season they were able to use the tools with a practice robot that was donated to the team. They used the Compact Inflator to inflate the balls that were used in the game this robot was used for. They also used the screwdrivers and hex keys in the assembly of the practice robot. \r\n\r\nNow that they can build the robot that they will use in the competition this year, they are using even more of the tools. They have been using the bench vise to hold the metal that needs to be cut and filed. They are using the files to smooth the metal and PVC pipe that they cut. Currently they are assembly a kit bot, but when they modify this design they can use the riveting tool to attach the modifications to the kit bot to help them better compete. The multimeter will help them to check their batteries to make sure they are fully charged before they run their robot in competition.\r\n\r\nThank you again for helping to provide the team with some of the tools they need to have a successful season.","fullyFundedDate":1760747003493,"projectUrl":"project/our-riveting-first-season-rapid-prototy/9812913/","projectTitle":"Our Riveting First Season: Rapid-Prototyping, Discovery, & FIRST Robotics Competition","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Settle","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10306988"},{"teacherId":10281926,"projectId":9761047,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for donating to my classroom!
