As students had the opportunity to take Bob apart, they were amazed to make the connection between the compactness i n the model and the compactedness in their own bodies. There was a lot of touching their abdomens to try and figure out where the organs were. Before we begin the oddocal unit my students a begiining to understands the differences in the organs and their scientific names. The clipboards and pouches came in a variety of colors and the kids were thrilled that they were able to choose the colors that they wanted. My student's organizational skills have improved tremendously thanks to your thoughtfulness.\r\n\r\nThese organizational tools have had a positive impact on my students. They are becoming more independent on a daily basis by being responsible for their learning tools.
