Having access to new equipment has provided us with exciting opportunities to make physical therapy sessions more engaging, meaningful, and fun while helping students develop important skills that they can use throughout their school day and beyond.\r\n\r\nAs a school-based physical therapist, my goal is to help students build the strength, coordination, balance, and motor skills they need to participate as independently as possible in their school environment. These skills are essential for so many everyday activities, from navigating hallways and playgrounds to participating in physical education, playing with friends, and accessing classroom activities. The equipment you so generously provided gives us additional ways to work toward these goals while making therapy something students genuinely look forward to.\r\n\r\nWe have already had so much fun incorporating the new supplies into our physical therapy sessions! It has been wonderful to see students excited to try new activities, explore different ways to move, and challenge themselves in ways that might not have been possible with our previous equipment. Whether we are working on balance, strengthening, coordination, motor planning, or overall body awareness, the new equipment allows us to create activities that are both therapeutic and enjoyable. Sometimes students are so busy having fun that they don't even realize how hard they are working!\r\n\r\nMost importantly, thank you for recognizing the value of helping children develop the physical skills they need to learn, play, participate, and thrive.
