One special moment that stood out was when a student quietly shared how excited they were to have food to take home, saying it helped them not worry about being hungry. Moments like these remind us just how impactful your support truly is.\r\n\r\nThe students were excited to see all the stuff begin to arrive , their reactions were filled with gratitude and relief. Many of them feel more secure knowing they will have something to eat outside of school hours. Teachers have also noticed a positive change—students are more focused, engaged, and ready to learn because a basic need is being met. Your kindness is not only feeding their bodies but also supporting their ability to succeed academically and emotionally.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we plan to continue expanding the Backpack Buddies program to reach even more students in need next year. In the past, some students struggled to stay engaged late in the day due to hunger or discomfort. Having access to snacks allowed them to refuel quickly and return to their tasks with renewed energy. Additionally, a few students quietly took advantage of the hygiene supplies before presentations, which noticeably boosted their confidence when speaking in front of peers.
