They have been engaged and creative and and are so excited for when we get to glaze and paint their creations. Right now we have about another week of working on clay projects and then I will let their projects dry for about a month before taking them to the kiln to be fired. When clay projects are bone dry they survive the kiln firing so much better so I always give them ample time to dry before firing them. Then students will either glaze or paint their projects depending the grade level. When finished, these projects will be proudly displayed at our end of year art show in April!","fullyFundedDate":1760704834494,"projectUrl":"project/creative-clay-for-all/9770993/","projectTitle":"Creative Clay for All!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Cable","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5715822_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1596725887107","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5715822"},{"teacherId":4369748,"projectId":9483434,"letterContent":"Thank you for your donation and contribution to my classroom project. This year I chose to fundraise money for a classroom standing desk. I have found this desk to be extremely beneficial for students who struggle with sitting. More so I have found I to be useful for my teaching. I often store things on the desk to help with classroom organization, roll it into the hallway to aid in classroom transitions, roll it around the classroom while teaching to have close proximity to different areas in the room, and even use it as a mobile desk for spaces in or around the school that do not have free standing desks.
