Before receiving these supplies, hands-on laboratory opportunities were limited due to a lack of materials. Our entire grade level of 300 students was equipped with the necessary tools to conduct multiple laboratory investigations aligned to the NC curriculum standards.\r\n\r\nStudents have been able to perform several hands-on labs throughout the school year, and we still have a few more to do! Rather than passively learning about scientific concepts, students became active participants in their own learning. This shift greatly enhanced their understanding and retention of key concepts. Student excitement and engagement increased noticeably during lab activities. \r\n\r\nThank you for your generous support and commitment to education. The headphones are used for listening to History videos for Social Studies. I think the candy has been their favorite. The kids have enjoyed using these supplies and thank you so much!\r\n\r\n Kids who did not have the supplies they needed were the most impacted by this project. To be able to supply them what they needed was such a humbling experience. Many have come from other classes to get supplies.
