Since day one, every student has abided by the newly instated rules!\r\n\r\nThe size, shape, and design of our new rug is more conducive to our classroom space. Each student has their own \"apple\" to sit on, and we can easily assemble in a circle for Morning Meeting. Students love to relax on the rug to read a book, play a math game with a partner, lie on their back to do mindfulness exercises, lie on their bellies and practice their heart words on whiteboards, or spread out to watch Wild Kratts. So many memories have been made at this rug.
