We have had so much fun bringing these children's stories to life! From talking through emotions with Grumpy Monkey to sequencing There was an Old Lady books, my kiddos have gained so many new skills. The rainbow visual timer has been especially helpful for my kids that don't quite have an internal sense of time (and what 1 minute means), as it instead frames the language to \"when the rainbow disappears\" - and they can watch as time passes. \r\n\r\nMy ASD students in my 6-1-2 classroom are particular fans of the manipulatives for \"Froggy gets Dressed.\" They love to \"put on\" and \"take off\" each clothing item as we read through the story. We practice core words using AAC such as put, get, have, and go, and I'm seeing them start to use them more in and out of therapy sessions! \r\n\r\nMy first and second graders love the story cubes, and we've been working on building narrative skills, particularly creating a story with a clear beginning, middle, and end.
