Some of them already knew how to play, but many more got their first experience as a result of your assistance. The books showed me a lot of strategies, tactics, and even rules which I was not aware of, which allowed me to share them with the students whom I hope will go on to represent their schools in competitions such as masterminds chess or others. \r\n\r\n none of this would have been possible without the boards in the first place. The most basic supplies needed to get any chess club off the ground are the means of playing the game to begin with. Having 4 identical boards for general play as well as two boards which are obviously for beginners is a great way to get students who might be nervous to put themselves out there with very little experience to level up their game.\r\n\r\n Thank you so much for helping me to bring something to the students of an underprivileged urban middle school that would not have been possible with the way funding is generally allocated for fun or outside the box activities.
