The resources from Growing Minds and Gardens in Our Farming Community have brought hands-on learning to life. Students have been using the new materials to explore plant life cycles, soil health, and the importance of sustainable farming right in their own community.\r\n\r\nOne of the most memorable moments sofar has been watching the excitement as students planted their first seeds inside. (Pumpkins!) They eagerly are checked each day for signs of growth, and are celebrating every sprout and leaf. For many, this was their first time planting, and it has sparked a new appreciation for where our food comes from and how much care goes into growing it.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials arrived, the students were thrilled—they couldn't wait to unpack everything and get started. Their curiosity and enthusiasm have made our garden lessons come alive in ways that simply wouldn't have been possible before.\r\n\r\nNext, we'll be expanding our project to include data collection and journaling, allowing students to track growth patterns, weather effects, and soil conditions.
