Because of your kindness, our students received much-needed supplies including snacks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant for both boys and girls, menstrual pads, body sprays, bandages, and blankets. These items have made a truly meaningful impact on students who face financial challenges.\r\n\r\nWe are using these new resources daily in our classroom. Snacks are available throughout the day so students can stay full and focused during lessons. Hygiene products are kept discreetly accessible, allowing students to take care of their personal needs with dignity and confidence. The blankets have been especially comforting during colder days, helping students feel safe, warm, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their reactions were unforgettable. Many were visibly excited, surprised, and grateful. Some students smiled ear to ear, while others quietly expressed relief knowing these items were available when they needed them. Several students said \"thank you\" repeatedly and shared how helpful the supplies would be for them and their families. It was clear that your generosity made them feel seen, cared for, and supported.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, students are now better prepared to focus on their academics. Our next steps include continuing a current classroom project centered on Earth and creating videos explaining different ways humans impact Earth Systems. With their basic needs met, students are more engaged, participate more actively in discussions, and are better able to concentrate on learning.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has gone far beyond providing supplies, you have helped create a classroom environment where students feel secure, confident, and ready to succeed. Thank you for investing in our students and helping remove barriers that can stand in the way of learning.","fullyFundedDate":1769223105043,"projectUrl":"project/warmth-hunger-and-care/10047504/","projectTitle":"Warmth, Hunger and Care","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Doyle","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9974045_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1760401213916","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9974045"},{"teacherId":9974045,"projectId":9202798,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous support, our classroom has been able to launch an exciting new journey into hydroponics!\r\n\r\nWhen the hydroponics kit first arrived, the students' eyes lit up with curiosity and excitement. Many had never seen materials like this before and they were eager to explore how plants can grow without soil. Some students immediately started asking thoughtful questions—\"How will the roots stay in place?\" and \"Can we grow lettuce faster this way?\"—while others were already imagining what types of vegetables they could grow for our class.\r\n\r\nI was able to guide students step by step, showing them how to set up the system, measure water and nutrients, and track plant growth over time. Students are learning not only about plant science, but also about sustainability and innovative farming methods that can impact the future of food.\r\n\r\nThe next steps for my students include planting seeds in the kit and recording their observations in science journals. They'll monitor water levels, light exposure, and plant growth, applying math and science skills along the way. Over the coming weeks, students will compare their hydroponic plants to traditional soil-based plants to see the differences firsthand.\r\n\r\nYour support has made this hands-on, inspiring experience possible.
